Romans 3:21-30

But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus. (vv. 21-24)

A gift only benefits you if you receive it!

"All have sinned and fall short"…"being justified as a gift by His grace"…"for all those who believe"

Have you ever received God's wonderful gift of forgiveness for the ways you have broken His moral laws? You receive His gift, not by doing good deeds, or becoming very ‘religious'. Remember, the gift is paid for by the one who gives it. You receive His gift by "believing".

You may have been trusting in your good works or your involvement at church to make you acceptable to God, but now instead, you're going to trust in what Jesus did for you at the cross.

You've been trusting in your old way of life to bring you meaning in life, but now you're going to trust God and turn over the leadership of your life to Him.

Why don't you write a little prayer in the "my response" section and express your new (or renewed) faith to God?
