Anxious For Nothing

As we enter the holiday season, it is easy for us to feel anxious. It seems that this time of year makes us more acutely aware of what we don't have or what we are lacking. The world will tell us we we need to celebrate the holidays in a certain way, buy these particular gifts, and throw these kinds of holiday parties and it causes us to feel anxious about how we will acquire or accomplish these things. The biblical response to anxiety is prayer and thanksgiving. Philippians 4:6 is the antidote to anxiety.

At Focal Point we want your holiday season to be filled with thanksgiving not anxiety, that's why we have chosen a practical resource called, Anxious for Nothing: God's Cure for the Cares of Your Soul. We trust this book will be a helpful encouragement when you are feeling anxious.
