You’ve heard it said that hindsight is 20/20. It’s a popular phrase used to demonstrate that looking back at a situation after the fact usually gives you much more clarity about what was really going on at the time. It’s a shame that today many people won’t use hindsight to look back to beginning of human history, to one of the most important events that ever took place, the fall of man.
But the unbelieving world does not acknowledge the fall of man; instead, they make the claim that man is basically good. Socialism and a number of other social schemes are based upon that very premise. But if they’re right, why does the world look the way it does? And why does socialism fall apart so easily? Why is a false view of human nature ultimately harmful?
