Happy Mother's Day!

Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live…

--Deuteronomy 30:19

One of the most remarkable mothers in Scripture is Jochebed, the mother of Moses.

Jochebed gave birth to Moses while living as a Hebrew slave in Egypt. But while Moses was still a baby, Pharaoh began to fear that the Hebrews might one day outnumber the Egyptians. So he demanded the slaughter of all newborn Hebrew baby boys.

Jochebed had great faith in God, and she went to incredible lengths to secure the safety of Moses. She built a floating cradle and hid him in the bulrushes where Pharaoh's daughter could find him and "adopt" this beautiful child as her own.

God blessed Jochebed's efforts and made it possible for her to become Moses' nanny and to raise him in the ways of God. This is how the seeds of faith were planted in Moses' heart, and how God prepared his heart to become the liberator of his people.

And later, when Moses was grown, look at what happened. Because Jochebed had chosen life for her son, Moses learned what mattered most in life. He stood before the children of Israel and said, "Choose life, that you and your offspring may live."

Never underestimate your importance, mothers! Not every child may be a "Moses," but God has an extraordinary destiny to be nurtured for every boy and girl.

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE YOUR IMPORTANCE, MOTHERS!

OUR THANKS TO YOU!

Pause: Resting in God Instead of Stressing Out

Dear Friend,

Do the words rested... peaceful... and refreshed describe you today? Or do the words stressed... rushed... and pressured better describe your way of life?
If you're like most Christians, you'd probably have to admit those last three words more accurately describe your life most of the time!
The good news is that it doesn't have to be this way... even when your life is one big pressure-cooker. And in my new book, Pause: Resting in God Instead of Stressing Out, I'll show you why.
Based on the principles from Paul's letter to the Philippians and Psalm 23Pause: Resting in God Instead of Stressing Out will help you find true peace and rest in a world that is anything but peaceful and restful. It's the perfect "pause" button you need!
So please request your copy of Pause: Resting in God Instead of Stressing Out when you give online today!  --Jack Graham
