Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name.

--1 Peter 4:16

Today I’d like to ask you, what do you think a Christian is?

Now, I know there are many ideas, definitions, and descriptions of what a Christian really is. As a matter of fact, if you took a survey of random people on the street, you’d probably get as many answers to that question as the number of people you ask! Everyone has an idea of what defines a Christian.

Ironically, though, did you know that the word Christian is only used three times in the Bible? That’s right.

One time it’s used is in the verse above.  1 Peter 4:16 gives us a keen insight in to what it means to be a Christian: It’s someone who is willing to pay the price in order to follow Christ.

So I have a question for you today. Are you willing to make whatever sacrifice to follow Him?

It is my prayer that you would be willing to pay the price to follow Jesus Christ in every part of your life… so that you are a true reflection of someone whose life has been changed by Him.

ARE YOU WILLING TO MAKE THE SACRIFICE TO FOLLOW CHRIST IN EVERY AREA OF YOUR LIFE?
