Have you ever wasted or missed a great opportunity? Who hasn’t? It’s frustrating when we have a chance to do something great, but miss or waste it.

Nehemiah was granted permission to go back to Jerusalem and pursue his mission. What an exciting opportunity for a man who was afraid to ask, but did so nonetheless! It was a life-changing moment for him.

When God guides, God also provides. And because of that, you and I can proceed confidently when He gives us an opportunity. That doesn’t mean the task will always be easy or predictable, but if it’s from God, it’s an opportunity not to be missed.

What are you going to do with your next opportunity for Christ? When God opens the door to the unknown and tells you to go, will you? Nehemiah went confidently because he knew his mission was from God.

Where is God leading you today? Pray that He will open up wonderful opportunities for you to serve Him and make Him known. God will not lead you where He can’t provide for you!
