But all things should be done decently and in order.
--1 Corinthians 14:40

Inspiration without organization leads to frustration.

It doesn’t matter what kind of organization you’re leading—whether it’s a leading Fortune 500 company or leading your kids to clean up their room—inspiration without organization equals frustration. This is one of the most important principles of leadership.

Now, there are some who think that organization is of the devil, that organization is somehow not of God.

Yet even when God created our bodies, He put everything in order—the skeletal system, the muscular system, the delivery systems of the body. You and I are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). The hand of God in the creation of the universe is one of complexity and beauty, and it’s highly organized.

God is a God of organization…and even His Church should reflect that quality. But that can only happen if you and I make the commitment to get plugged in to the local church! The hand of God moves through the hands of His people. And many hands organized together can accomplish what no hand can do by itself!

I challenge you today to look at your life and honestly assess where you are not properly organized. Commit that area to God in prayer and begin to take steps to become more effective for Him.

INSPIRATION WITHOUT ORGANIZATION LEADS TO FRUSTRATION.
