O Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of your servant….

--Nehemiah 1:11

The church of Jesus Christ today rises and falls with leadership. The church is always in need of men and women with integrity, conviction, and devotion.

Christ is looking for people who love Him enough, and love His church enough, to step out in faith and take charge.

All God wants is for us to be available for His purposes. God desires us, as Christians, to be available as leaders in our homes, churches, schools, and businesses. Just like Nehemiah, God desires for us to make a difference right where we are!

The book of Nehemiah is a personal journal from a man who stepped out and led his people in a rebuilding process. Just as it is with our personal lives, this process of rebuilding isn’t short and it certainly isn’t easy. But Nehemiah made himself an available vessel for Christ.

It’s my prayer today that you will be a difference-maker and a leader for Christ. Isn’t it wonderful that Christ only asks us to be available—and that He will provide everything else?

Take that first step and lead others in a journey toward Jesus Christ today!

ALL GOD WANTS IS FOR US TO BE AVAILABLE FOR HIS PURPOSES.
