…How can a man be righteous before God?

--Job 9:2

This question posed by Job is the most important question a person could ever ask.

None of us is born righteous. No one! And there’s no religion or human effort that could ever make us right with God. This is why we must look to God’s grace for our salvation…period.

The apostle Paul tells us in Romans 3:23-26, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.”

God’s transfer of righteousness into our hearts does not come through rules and regulations, but through the word justification, an act in which God declares the believing sinner righteous through faith in Jesus Christ.

And if you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ, God will never declare you unrighteous again!

This is the good news of the Bible. God loves you and has chosen to forgive you of your sins through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

AS A BELIEVER, GOD HAS DECLARED YOU RIGHTEOUS THROUGH YOUR FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST.
