Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.

--Romans 12:9-10

If there’s anything the Church of Jesus Christ needs today, it’s a good dose of reality! Real Christians who are authentic, who are real saints in a real world.

With all the criticism and skepticism given to churches and ministries today, it’s time the world take notice of some Christians who are committed to Jesus Christ in truth, obedience, integrity, and honesty!

In the verses above, Paul tells us how we can be authentic Christians. And the first thing he mentions is that we are to love sincerely.

Part of taking up our cross every day means we take up that kind of love. If we’re going to be real, we must honestly and sincerely exercise the ministries of love.

So I want to ask you, what does your love look like today? Is it truthful? Tenacious? Tender? Thoughtful?

Does the way you demonstrate love tell others that you’re a follower of Christ?

May your life today reflect John 13:35, “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

WHAT DOES YOUR LOVE LOOK LIKE TODAY?
