God calls you to purity

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge….
--Proverbs 1:7

Have you noticed that society is breeding a culture that has no fear of God? People want a kinder, gentler God. But as the boundaries of right and wrong soften, society is experiencing rampant immorality.

But here's the deal. No matter what anybody else says, no matter what your friends say, and no matter what the culture says, sexual sin is disobedience to God.

You see, God has called us to purity, holiness, and to godliness. And he said, "You shall be holy, for I am holy."

When a culture denies this commandment from God, it is on its way to collapse. And if you deny this as a follower of Christ, then you are on your way to collapse as well.

You cannot fool around with God's commandments and know his power and blessing in your life.

Now, you may say, "Pastor, I've already failed. I've broken this commandment. What does God have to say to me?"

Jesus went to the cross for you. He died for you. And he rose again so that you can be forgiven. But you have to make a choice.

Do you want the steadfast love of God or the worldly lust that is all around us?

Trust God with your life, with every area of it. Hold nothing back from him. And the Holy Spirit will enable you to make good decisions that honor him and that bless you beyond what you can imagine.

YOU CANNOT FOOL AROUND WITH GOD'S COMMANDMENTS AND KNOW HIS POWER AND BLESSING IN YOUR LIFE.

Pause: Resting in God Instead of Stressing Out

Dear Friend,

Do the words rested... peaceful... and refreshed describe you today? Or do the words stressed... rushed... and pressured better describe your way of life?
If you're like most Christians, you'd probably have to admit those last three words more accurately describe your life most of the time!
The good news is that it doesn't have to be this way... even when your life is one big pressure-cooker. And in my new book, Pause: Resting in God Instead of Stressing Out, I'll show you why.
Based on the principles from Paul's letter to the Philippians and Psalm 23, Pause: Resting in God Instead of Stressing Out will help you find true peace and rest in a world that is anything but peaceful and restful. It's the perfect "pause" button you need!
So please request your copy of Pause: Resting in God Instead of Stressing Out when you give online today!  --Jack Graham
