“For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?”

--Mark 8:36

For many, the soul is shrouded in mystery. Does it exist? Where is it? Where does it go after death?

Here are the facts. When God created you, He breathed life into you. He gave you a gift that is immortal, endless, timeless, and forever—your soul.

Now, the flesh, the exterior part of you is dying. It is finite and will decay after you die. But your soul lives forever.

When you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, your soul can live with God for eternity.  But it is also important to grow and replenish your soul daily in this life.

That’s why I want to challenge you today to do business with your soul. How do you do this? By giving God control of your heart and life.

Spend time in God’s Word every day. Designate a time and place for regular prayer. Keep God on your mind throughout the day. Ask Him for guidance. Give Him thanks and praise for your blessings.

Every moment you spend in the presence of our Lord and Savior feeds your soul!
