There is power in unity!

"I [Jesus] in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me."

--John 17:23

Today's verse contains one of the most remarkable statements recorded in Scripture. It says that God loves you and me just as he loves Christ Jesus!

I find that thought astounding. How does a perfect and holy God love people like you and me who are so imperfect and unholy? Well, the key to this amazing love is found in today's verse. You see, it is only through Christ Jesus that you and I become one with God. And then, in this remarkable and mysterious bond of oneness, we also become the body of Christ.

Now, there are some people in the Church who seem much more interested in criticizing the Church, and each other, than lifting up the name of Jesus. And the devil, who is the enemy of all things holy, takes great pleasure in such behavior because it can hinder the effectiveness of the Church.

But when the Church is "perfectly one," then God's glory and power is magnificently revealed and the world can see the great love that God has for each and every soul bought and paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ.

If you love Jesus, then it's time to pray with him for the unity of his Church.

IT IS ONLY THROUGH CHRIST JESUS THAT
YOU AND I BECOME ONE WITH GOD.

OUR THANKS TO YOU!

Pause: Resting in God Instead of Stressing Out

Dear Friend,

Do the words rested... peaceful... and refreshed describe you today? Or do the words stressed... rushed... and pressured better describe your way of life?
If you're like most Christians, you'd probably have to admit those last three words more accurately describe your life most of the time!
The good news is that it doesn't have to be this way... even when your life is one big pressure-cooker. And in my new book, Pause: Resting in God Instead of Stressing Out, I'll show you why.
Based on the principles from Paul's letter to the Philippians and Psalm 23, Pause: Resting in God Instead of Stressing Out will help you find true peace and rest in a world that is anything but peaceful and restful. It's the perfect "pause" button you need!
So please request your copy of Pause: Resting in God Instead of Stressing Out when you give online today!  --Jack Graham
