Who has your life?

February 22, 2013

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

When the communists took over the Soviet Union in the early 20th century, they were described by many in the Western world as “dead men on furlough.” That is, they had died to themselves and to their own ambitions in life and lived solely for the cause of bringing about communism in the world.

I think there’s a thing or two we can learn from that. You see, if these communists could be so committed to their cause of militant economic equality and ridding their culture of God that they would die for it, how much more should believers who anticipate eternal life be committed to their cause of love and salvation?

As Christians, we need to consider ourselves dead men and women on furlough. We no longer belong to ourselves. Our death will come, whether it is decades, years, or days away. The question is what we’ll do with our lives between this day and that day.

Our choice is clear: We either live sold-out for Christ, or we don’t. To be in between on this issue is not a valid option. So beginning today, give the rest of your life to the purposes and plans of God!

GIVE YOUR LIFE TODAY TO THE PURPOSES AND PLANS OF GOD, TRUSTING IN HIS SOVEREIGN WILL FOR YOU!

Get the best from 2012 to be your best in 2013

Dear Friend,

While many pastors shy away from addressing controversial issues, I sincerely believe you need to hear straight, “bulls-eye” biblical teaching on many of today’s hot topics. Not only to grow in your faith as a believer, but to give winsome, compassionate answers to the hard questions our culture is asking.

That’s why I want to send you a special new resource today – my CD series called The Best of 2012.

This series contains 10 of my most popular and compelling messages from 2012, and it’s a resource that’s sure to help you in 2013 because it includes messages such as, “Are All Religions the Same?”, “Lessons on Leadership,” and “What Is a Christian?”

The Best of 2012 is my gift to thank you for your donation to help PowerPoint continue to proclaim God’s Word and truth ’til the whole world hears. So please request your copy when you give today.

Thank you!
