Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

--2 Corinthians 1:3-4

One of the most important things to remember in the midst of hard times is that God is deeply concerned about your pain. Jesus came to this earth as a man in order to share in your humanity… to identify with your sufferings… and to provide a way for you to have healing and hope.

And no matter what has happened to you in the past… or what you are going through now… Jesus is right there, as your Friend and Comforter. His desire is to come alongside the wounded heart and to bring restoration and a new beginning.

You see, God is able to turn around any situation… and heal every kind of wound… especially yours.

So today, why don’t you bring your broken heart to Jesus? Why not give Him your burdens and fears… and all the wounded places of your heart? As you offer these areas to Jesus, He will begin to bring healing, peace, and restoration to your life again.

And when He does, don’t be surprised when God lets you share the comfort you’ve received from Him with someone else who’s going through a trying situation.

Jesus is the friend of the wounded heart. So let Him work in your life today!

no matter what has happened to you in the past, or what you are going through now… Jesus is right there, as your Friend and Comforter.
