For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

--Ephesians 2:10

Wouldn’t it be great if you could see into the future? Well you can… sort of.

In today’s verse, we find that we are God’s workmanship. And that He has planned “good works” ahead for our lives.

You can know today that the Lord has planned a lifetime of opportunities for you to serve Him through good works.

But in order for you to be able to fulfill those good works God has prepared for you, He is, through His grace, transforming you into the person He wants you to be.

But remember this doesn’t happen overnight. As you continue to walk in step with God, His grace is constantly changing you.

Isn’t that encouraging? The Lord not only saves you and creates great plans for your life… He also enables you to live out those plans!

This is something to celebrate. Sometimes we can deceive ourselves into thinking that everything depends on us. That somehow we can contribute to our own righteousness.

But in reality, every one of us is completely and utterly reliant on the grace of God to rescue us from sin… to change our hearts so that we become holy… to empower us to remain faithful to Jesus Christ… and to make something worthwhile out of our lives.

And of course, God’s plan is not for your life just to be worthwhile—but to be glorious! He wants to use you in ways you could never imagine, and the way He will do it is by transforming you by His grace.

So today, I’d like to encourage you by reminding you that you are a trophy of God’s grace. And the master Artist is continuing His work in you, whether you’re aware of it or not… to create you into the person He has destined you to be.

He looks beyond who you are today and sees what you will become through His grace… and He smiles!

TAKE JUST A FEW MOMENTS OUT OF YOUR DAY TODAY TO DREAM AND THANK GOD FOR PLANING YOUR FUTURE.

Pause: Resting in God Instead of Stressing Out

Dear Friend,

Do the words rested... peaceful... and refreshed describe you today? Or do the words stressed... rushed... and pressured better describe your way of life?
If you're like most Christians, you'd probably have to admit those last three words more accurately describe your life most of the time!
The good news is that it doesn't have to be this way... even when your life is one big pressure-cooker. And in my new book, Pause: Resting in God Instead of Stressing Out, I'll show you why.
Based on the principles from Paul's letter to the Philippians and Psalm 23, Pause: Resting in God Instead of Stressing Out will help you find true peace and rest in a world that is anything but peaceful and restful. It's the perfect "pause" button you need!
So please request your copy of Pause: Resting in God Instead of Stressing Out when you give online today!  --Jack Graham
