Ligonier Ministries was established in 1971 to equip Christians to articulate what they believe and why they believe it. In 2009, the Ligonier Academy of Biblical and Theological Studies was founded and currently offers a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degree program and adult non-degree certificate programs. In 2011, Ligonier Academy will enroll its first undergraduate classes in four- and two-year degree programs in Biblical and Theological Studies.
