Paul the Apostle had been telling the Corinthians about the children of Israel and their journey from Egypt to the Promised Land. He did not have the New Testament, so he taught from the Old Testament. Paul was writing the New Testament as he was teaching the new church. We can see from Paul’s teaching, we have to read the Old Testament to fully understand the New Testament.
The Feast of Booths
The Feast of Booths, Feast of Tabernacles, Sukkot in Hebrew, is the seventh and final feast the Lord gave to Israel. As with all the feasts God established with the children of Israel, it is a time of remembering all the Lord has done for the children of Israel and giving thanks.
Give Up Self
Apart from abandonment, found in 1 Corinthians 7:10-16, sexual immorality is the only other biblical reason for divorce, and yet God would prefer we forgive. Man does not want to forgive.

How can Christians vote for someone who supports killing babies and believes in homosexual marriage? God is calling His people to repentance. As we look at the state of our nation and the moral beliefs of our leaders, we know we are in trouble. Our government is changing very rapidly and it is taking us to a place where the church does not need to go.
