Host Biography
The Honorable Bishop F. Josephus Johnson, better known as Bishop Joey, is the Senior Pastor of The House of the Lord in Akron, Ohio. Bishop Joey is a noted conference and revival speaker in the areas of the Bible, family, church growth and management, business management, personal development, leadership and team building.

As a visionary, Bishop Joey founded the Logos Bible Institute, Pastoral Mentoring Institute and Emmanuel Christian Academy to facilitate continual and in-depth Bible study for all ages.

Bishop Joey’s Apostolic responsibility includes overseeing the Beth-El Fellowship of Visionary Churches. He offers 30 years of pastoral wisdom and guidance to those pastors and their congregations.

Bishop Joey's recently released God Is Greater Than: Family Mess seeks to help people understand that God works through difficult circumstances and his hope is that the message of the book will release people to pursue their hopes, dreams, expectations and destiny in the Holy Spirit.

All too often today, the message from the Church is both confusing and conflicting. We seem to have lost the zeal for righteousness, the hunger and thirst for God and His Word. We are bombarded with the plans, purposes and pursuits of life... to the point of neglecting "The Sound of His Word".
