Don’t Give Up On Your Dreams – Beloved Women – December 12, 2019

READ

“In the morning, sow your seed, and at evening, withhold not your hand, for you do not know which will prosper, this or that, or whether both alike will be good.” (Ecclesiastes 11:6 ESV)

TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT

Have you ever pursued a dream or goal, and it didn’t work out? Maybe you’re not where you think you should be. Maybe this has happened more than once. Maybe you’ve experienced a series of deferred dreams, and you’re thinking, “What’s the point of even trying?”

Ecclesiastes 11:6 reminds us to, “In the morning sow your seed, and at evening, withhold not your hand, for you do not know which will prosper, this or that, or whether both alike will be good.” (ESV). I want to encourage you today to keep going. Keep trying. Keep planning. Keep planting because you never know which of your efforts will produce the harvest for which you hope.

You know what we do know? There is a 100% failure rate for those who quit. Today is not your opportunity to give up. Today is your opportunity to keep going.

PRAY

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing the growth You desire for my life. I pray for discernment and strength to do what I’m called to do, even when I can’t yet see the fruits. In Jesus Christ’s name, I pray, Amen.
