Trusting God for More – Beloved Women – December 31, 2018

READ

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen - Ephesians 3:20-21 ESV

TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT

This verse is so easy to get excited about and yet I think we often miss the most beautiful part. We focus so much on the “far more abundantly” blessing that this scripture speaks of and miss the giver we receive the blessing from.

God is the focus of this verse. He is able to do more abundantly than all we ask. This is a reminder that in order to receive the abundance, we have to go to the giver. We have to be willing to release control of the planner within us and truly take it to Him to multiply.

As a planner and a dreamer, I love to think about the future of how I’d like for my life to be. This verse gives me hope in knowing that our Father is able to do more than our dreams if we choose to trust Him.

PRAY

Father, You know the desires of our hearts. Give us the wisdom let go of our personal agendas so that you can bless and multiply the plans that you have for us. May we bring it all to you, God, knowing that you can and will exceed our expectations. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
