When You Walk Through the Fire – Beloved Women – November 14, 2019

READ

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.”(Isaiah 43:2 ESV)

TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT

The uncertainties of life can be scary. None of us are exempt from tests and trials and as much as we wish there was, there is no formula to live by that would yield a perfect life untouched by pain and discomfort. Still, God gives us something very special during these times. He gives us Himself.

God is with us, especially during our difficult seasons. I say this not because it always feels like He is because sometimes, it doesn’t. I say this because God promises to be with us through the deep waters and fires of life. Making it through will not be easy, but with God, it is possible. I encourage you to allow God’s presence give you hope, no matter what you are facing today.

PRAY

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your comforting presence, especially when life is hard. I pray for the strength to look to You when times are dark. Thank You for being my light. In Jesus Christ Name, I pray, Amen.

REFLECT

When was a time you faced a difficult life challenge but you still knew God was with you through it all?
