Theme: You Can Believe God’s Word

The Bible Is Truth

Scripture: All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16, 17)

Play: Tell your kids one of their favorite fictional stories, but leave out key parts or muddle several pieces. Let your children correct you along the way.

Talk: Some parts of the story were mixed up or left out, but the Bible is different. Everything written in the Bible is truth, and there are no mistakes. The Bible is God’s way of communicating and teaching us to do right (2 Timothy 3:16-17). With His Word, we can better understand all the wonderful things He has done for us and what He expects from us. How does knowing the Bible is true help us follow what it says?

Pray: Ask God to help you obey His Word.
