Are we looking in the rearview mirror, or through the windshield? The answer is contingent on our perspective. Too many of us are living in the past. Our perspective is not that much different from that of Israel in exile. We are more preoccupied with what God did in our past. Indeed, retrospective is a good thing because you see where God has brought you from. But now it’s time to change your perspective to something prospective. Look ahead and anticipate the marvelous things God is preparing to do in your life.
