. . . that you would walk worthy of God who calls you
into His own kingdom and glory.
(1 Thessalonians 2:12)
In Ephesians 6, Paul talks about our three positions in Christ: we sit, we walk, and we stand. Although the word “live” is used, it is merely a reference to walking with God. God is watching the way we walk. He doesn’t only monitor the pulpit but also every pew in the church. In fact, you might stumble, mess up, and even go to places that you should not have gone; but the Lord still knows that you are His child by your walk.
