. . . and their rims were full of eyes, all around the four of them. (Ezekiel 1:18b)
This image suggests that God sees and knows all. There are times when we assume that God is ignorant of our conditions. Actually, however, the Lord who is over everything sees and knows everything. Isaiah 28:20 says, “For the bed is too short to stretch out on, and the covering so narrow that one cannot wrap himself in it.” That was the image of attempting to cover up and exposing the feet, but the bed is too narrow. In other words, there is no place where God cannot reach you.
