Psalm 119:121-128

“Therefore I consider all your precepts to be right; I hate every false way.”(v. 128)

Think for a minute about what this verse says: All God’s precepts about everything—all of them are right.

If this statement was said about anyone but God it would be ludicrous. Who can be always right about everything?!

But the truth of this statement is what draws us to God’s Word. This belief is why we stake our lives on the truths contained in the Bible. This is why we memorise it and study it and pray through it.

God is always right about everything.

The more you use your Bible, the more you will recognise the truth of this statement. The more you apply the principles of Scripture to your everyday life, the more you will experience the wisdom of God expressed in his Word, and the more you will come to hate the false messages pressed into our minds by the secular media.

The world’s wisdom tells us to focus on the external things in life, but God reminds us that it is the unseen things that last forever. The world’s wisdom tells us to live for ourselves. God’s wisdom tells us to live for God. The world tells us to do whatever it takes to get ahead. The Bible tells us that when we live to please God, he blesses our lives. Who’s right?
