The outcome of renewal is very exciting. A spiritual comeback always brings joy. II Chronicles 29:30 says, “Then Hezekiah and the officials ordered the Levites to sing the songs of praise that David and Asaph had written. And so they bowed down and joyfully sang praises to the Lord.” When God moves, when there is renewal, the result is joy. Of course you are joyful. You are right with God and it naturally leads to joy. Marriages are healed, promotions at work happen and family relationships are restored. All kinds of positive changes happen.

Another marvelous outcome is your faith becomes strong. In II Kings 18:7- 8 it says, “The Lord helped Hezekiah so he was successful in everything he did. He even rebelled against the king of Assyria refusing to be his servant. Hezekiah defeated the Philistine towns as far away as Gaza- from the smallest towns to the large, walled cities” When you have enormous faith it is as if God can bring a victory over anything. You look at a problem, an obstacle and there is such faith it can change. You have this faith because God is moving, you see renewal and you know God can do it. And God does it.

The final outcome is victory. You have a spiritual comeback! II Chronicles 32:22 tells us, “The Lord rescued Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem from Sennacherib and also protected them from other enemies. People brought offerings to Jerusalem for the Lord, expensive gifts for Hezekiah, and from that day on, every nation on earth respected Hezekiah.” Victory! God keeps moving and working. And when God works good things happen. There is absolutely no reason why this can’t happen today just like it happened in the days of Hezekiah. It happened in our church and it can happen in your life. The only way it can stop is a lack of faithfulness. As long as you’re faithful to follow the steps God has clearly spelled it out it will continue. Remember these key words: “And he was successful because he obeyed the Lord God with all his heart.”

God will bring a powerful move unlike anything you have ever seen before. There will be so many positive things that take place in your life it will just blow your mind. Your setback will be a distant memory when you experience the victory. This is what it is like to have a spiritual comeback.
