Day 341

SHINING LIGHT

As he neared Damascus on his journey,

suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.

Acts 9:3

FROM THE FATHER'S HEART
My child, I deal with each person differently. Paul needed a drastic change to turn from his life of persecuting My people. He needed a special anointing for the work I would give him to do. Later, as he was imprisoned, My light that once blinded him gave him sight in a dark prison. I am your shining light, too. Never hide your light under a box, thinking it's unimportant. Let it shine. Let it shine for Me.

A GRATEFUL RESPONSE
While walking in darkness, I, too, saw the light. No, not a blinding light like Paul experienced on the road to Damas-cus, but a life-changing brilliance. You are that shining light, Lord. Without Your intervention, my eyes would be permanently blind. You changed my life forever.

SIMPLE TRUTH

God calls each of us to light for another the flame once extinguished by despair.
