Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brothers the priests, and they built the Sheep Gate.

--Nehemiah 3:1

Have you ever regretted not getting involved in something that turned out to be a really good thing? Maybe you hesitated because you were unsure of yourself or because you were afraid to take a risk.

Too many Christians operate that way—sitting back for whatever reason while others go out and join the exciting work of God. I don’t ever want it to be said of me that something great happened for God’s Kingdom, and I chose not to be involved!

Serving Christ also means being willing to take part in the battle against evil. If we want to share in the excitement of victory, we have to be a part of the struggle!

The Christian life is not just a free ticket to heaven when you die. It’s an exciting way of life that we need to be fully engaged in each and every day!

People all over the world are dying without the knowledge of Christ. That is why I choose to participate in His work now…not just hold onto my ticket to heaven for later. Be active for Christ every single day…starting today!

CHRISTIANS SHOULD NOT BE PASSIVE, BUT ACTIVELY SERVING CHRIST each and every day.
