For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

--Ephesians 6:12

Prayer is the most powerful weapon of protection for your family that you have.

Remember, we are in a spiritual battle in this world. There is a great battle for the soul of America and for the soul of our families. And prayer is your most powerful line of defense.

Pray together as a family. But I also want to encourage you to make prayer for your children and grandchildren a very personal and consistent part of your life. Pray for their salvation, for their safety, for their peers, for their mate, for their character, for God’s will in their life.

And the great thing about prayer is that there is no time limit! When your babies outgrow the Bible stories and the bedtime prayers, you can still pray for them.

When your children begin driving and go off to college, you can still pray for them. When they start their first job and get married, you can still pray for them. And when they have their own children and grandchildren, you can still pray for them!

Wherever your children live and whatever their situation, you can always pray for them. Your children need your prayers.

MAKE PRAYER FOR YOUR CHILDREN A REGULAR PART OF YOUR DAY.
