Why You Can Be Excited For Kingdom Work

July 8, 2013

And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

Hebrews 9:27-28

It seems like almost every week, I have couples in my office planning and preparing for marriage. They’ve set their date, are making every decision about every detail, and are focusing their hearts and minds almost exclusively on that day when they’ll stand before their friends and family and become husband and wife.

For those of us who are married, we remember that time of life well… the excitement… the anticipation… living on your tiptoes with expectancy. In much the same way, we’re to live with that kind of excitement and expectancy as we look forward to the coming of Jesus Christ. We may not know the date, but we know it’s coming!

The second coming of Christ isn’t just something we ponder theologically – it’s a very real event all people will experience. Some will be on the good side of His coming, and some will be on the bad side. But make no mistake about it, we’ll all know when it happens.

Are you looking forward to that day? Are you living your life in light of His soon return? Be diligent in your work for the Kingdom, knowing that someday, maybe even today, Christ will return and take those of us in Him to be with Him forever!

LIVE EVERY DAY WORKING DILIGENTLY FOR THE KINGDOM IN EAGER EXPECTATION OF CHRIST’S SOON RETURN!

Get the best from 2012 to be your best in 2013

Dear Friend,

While many pastors shy away from addressing controversial issues, I sincerely believe you need to hear straight, “bulls-eye” biblical teaching on many of today’s hot topics. Not only to grow in your faith as a believer, but to give winsome, compassionate answers to the hard questions our culture is asking.

That’s why I want to send you a special new resource today – my CD series called The Best of 2012.

This series contains 10 of my most popular and compelling messages from 2012, and it’s a resource that’s sure to help you in 2013 because it includes messages such as, “Are All Religions the Same?”, “Lessons on Leadership,” and “What Is a Christian?”

The Best of 2012 is my gift to thank you for your donation to help PowerPoint continue to proclaim God’s Word and truth ’til the whole world hears. So please request your copy when you give today.
