And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:14)

Notice that the presence of the Lord Jesus manifesting His glory was the presence of “grace and truth.” These two go hand in hand; that is, you can’t have one without the other. Jesus, the only begotten of the Father, is full of grace. Grace, which brings liberation and salvation, always saves and elevates people. If you want the sweetness and sanctifying power of God to operate, then you must invite the Lord Jesus into your life. His grace will save you, and then His truth will sanctify you.
