Come to My Rescue 

 

Psalms 31:2 “Turn your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue; be my rock of refuge,

a strong fortress to save me.” NIV

 

Can God hear me in my pain?  Yes, He can provide a place of refuge.  Refuge means, a condition, a shelter or place of been safe hidden from pursuit. How many times can you recall needing a safe place in the midst of your circumstances? God does not need to whisk you  physically away; He can bring you into a place of peace, right in the midst of your trials and you will have the witness that He has heard your desperate cry for help.

 

In this busy schedule called life, there are so many missed opportunities to rely on God’s help.

We are an independent generation. We have all the tools to make things happen, and then we have technology to enforce our creativity.  

However, with all these incredible resources, in our time of trouble, we have one eternal option, God!

The simplest prayer or sincere cry from our heart will draw God’s ear towards us, and he will be our refuge and place of safety.
