The Key to Living a Regret-Free Life
But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
I love learning about some of the great heroes of the church and their attitudes in the face of so much hardship. One of those great saints is a missionary by the name of David Brainerd, who lived at the beginning of the 18th century, toiled among the Native American tribes, and died at the young age of 29 from tuberculosis.
Late in his short life, David’s disease had a severe grip on him, so much that he was coughing up blood. Sick and dying, Brainerd wrote in his journal, “I long to be a flame of fire, continually glowing in the divine service in building Christ’s Kingdom to my last and dying moment.”
What passion; what commitment to get excited about Jesus Christ and be aflame with the spirit of God when death is at your doorstep. Yet as I look at the church today, I see many Christians who are too cool and too casual instead of being fervent in serving the Lord!
God wants all of you. He doesn’t want cool and casual Christianity, but radical obedience to Him until your dying breath. Grace is a free gift, but your response to it says everything about the reality of the gift itself. Give your all to Christ until your last breath. When you do, you’ll have no regrets as you enter His presence forever!

I love learning about some of the great heroes of the church and their attitudes in the face of so much hardship.
Follow Christ’s example of giving your anger to God and live in freedom from resentment and bitternes
If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink (Rom. 12:20). Loving others isn't complicated. It's simply going above and beyond, by the power of the Spirit, in treating others how you'd like to be treated, no matter how they treat you.
We love others well not by having every answer, but by stepping into their lives and bearing their burdens.
This is not our world; this is not our time; this is God’s Kingdom.
Do whatever you do to the utmost, using the gifts God has given you to make an impact for His name!
If we’re going to have unity in the church, we have to stay on mission
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). Welcome new and exciting ideas in your church and you'll help spread the life-transforming truth of the Bible to as many people as possible!
Choose life, even in the toughest circumstances.
People today are sick from hating themselves. And no amount of thinking positively can fix that. So how can we cure this sickness?
The Scriptures were designed for the real purpose of us being able to immerse ourselves into them.
On our own, our spiritual currency is worthless.
The Gospel is Jesus Christ.
When we give our lives to Christ, we live for heavenly purposes.
Truth is truth no matter what we think or how we feel about it.
Many churches are becoming indifferent toward issues like premarital sex, abortion, and the exclusiveness of Christ.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil (2 Cor. 5:10). Those people who are faithful to the Lord Jesus today and until they meet Him face to face will build a greater capacity to receive His rewards.
Stuff can’t make you happy, but heavenly treasures will give you everlasting joy.
A conscience can only utilize the light that it’s been given.
One excuse I constantly hear for not sharing the Gospel is that people don’t know what to say.
Your life has meaning and purpose.
"Greet one another with a holy kiss."
The evidence that Jesus Christ is alive is indeed compelling!
When you’re not walking in the Spirit, you can’t receive everything God wants to give you!
You can be free of the power and the dominion of sin in your life!
In Christ, you have the power to overcome because He has already overcome.
Many times in our lives, the very things we fear are acts of God Himself.
Fear is as pervasive in our culture as breathing.
Real and lasting comfort from pain isn’t found by just numbing what hurts.
Can love really last a lifetime? The answer is yes… because God created it that way!
The home is a place where lessons should be taught, love given and received, and Jesus exalted.
The key to overcoming stress is to walk humbly with God every day.
When Christ comes into your life, it’s a life-changing experience.
Live life by the Spirit by surrendering control and living under the power of God.
Maybe today, there’s something in your life that’s keeping you from living full-on for Jesus Christ.
The deepest needs of your life aren’t going to be met by the pursuit of wealth.
Fill your bucket with things that matter, not things that weigh you down...
Inspire confidence from others by admitting your shortcomings and showing others you can be trusted to be truthful.
Practice faithfulness in the small things today for the big things tomorrow!
God is making us who have faith in Christ into the likeness of His Son, Jesus.
Honoring our mothers and fathers goes beyond childhood.
We have to communicate God’s love and acceptance to our children so they have a right picture of their Heavenly Father.
The people of the church are the house of God.
We must communicate the right idea of God from the Word of God… no compromises!
If you’re in Christ, you’ll never experience God’s wrath.
Perhaps you’ve noticed as you’ve looked at the Bible that within its pages, there’s never once an argument for the existence of God.
Never forget your true north…it’s the very character of Christ Himself.
As you step into 2016 this week, put your focus on one thing you want to do well in the coming year. Resolve to make a deep impact in one place.
God has given each of us a certain number of minutes with which we’re able to make an impact in the world.
The message of Christmas is the message of the cradle, the cross, and the crown. The cradle because God became a man in Christ. But the wood of the cradle touches the wood of the cross, where that man died for the forgiveness of our sins.
In Christ, you can overcome the darkness and have victory over sin and death.
The Scripture tells us that God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise.
These humble, lowly men had jobs that kept them away from their families, and were essentially nomadic as they followed their flocks around day and night. It was a lonely, poor life… a humble audience for the very first Christmas carol ever sung.
We have no hope of escaping death on our own.
I appeal to you, brothers... that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you (1 Cor. 1:10). I think we can safely say Black Friday is usually not marked by a spirit of Christian unity, even though it’s supposed to kick off the Christmas season.
When it comes to sharing their testimonies of faith, many Christians are sinfully silent. But a testimony of the thankfulness you have for what Christ has done for you is the most powerful evangelism tool you have.
Wisdom without God is temporal. But godly wisdom informs us for this life and the life to come.
Several years ago, the Lord really impressed upon me that I was too consumed with ministry. Like any job, ministry can become such a part of your life that it starts to become and idol. And chief among the things that were being sacrificed to that idol was my marriage.
Love one another with kindness and compassion.
Any chance you had of getting to heaven on your own was destroyed by sin. But Christ destroyed the power of sin on the cross to give you eternal life if you’ll only trust in Him.
What do you think is the one thing that really brings about joy and passion in our lives?
Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God (1 John 4:1). With such a powerful enemy against us, how do we have any hope of victory in spiritual warfare?
Desires are normal. Search God’s Word and discover what glorifies Him. Understand He’s created you with desires
The devil never gives up territory without a fight.
Don’t let the sovereignty of God be an excuse for passiveness.
Be obedient to the ministry where God has called you, and trust in Him to bring people to Christ, whether it be many or few.
A fisher of men is someone who looks at the lost people around him or her and sees future disciples of Jesus Christ.
As we think about the believers who’ve gone before us, cheering us on and encouraging us in the great race of life, that should encourage us.
Don’t try to do life alone. There are no ‘Lone Rangers’ of the Christian faith.
The place to begin sharing God’s truth is at home. That’s where we’re to live authentically...
