Acts 19:11-12

 

 

 

Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them.

 

There was nothing special about Paul’s hands, per se. Neither was their anything magical about the clothes that he wore. It takes an act of faith to activate the power of God – not some special thing or person. Paul’s hands and clothes were simply the vehicle or conduit the Lord permitted to be used for His people to tap into His healing power. The healing power of God was available to those Paul taught not because of Paul’s physical presence among the people, but because of their faith in the Word of God that Paul spoke.
