Are You An Effective Witness?

 

 

Acts 1:8 (NKJV)

8 "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

 

Jesus makes an important statement here. He says that you will receive power AFTER the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And then He says you will be a witness. You cannot be an effective witness without the power of the Holy Spirit. Our lives are to a witness to others and the Holy Spirit within us gives us the power to live a victorious life in Christ.
