Be An Example
I Timothy 3:2-5(NKJV)
2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach;
3 not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous;
4 one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence
5 (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?);
A family prospers by the same measure they see at home, in our lives. That's the real test. God wants you to be yourself at all times. Just be yourself. If you do not like yourself, change. But don't be phony. According to verse two, you should have good behavior. We must be what we preach or we need to stop preaching. Let us make it a point to be that example that God wants us to be, not only to the world, but to those who are the closes to us, our family.
