Blessed Like Abraham

 

 

 

Galatians 3:14 (NKJV)

 

14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

 

Here we are told that the blessings of Abraham are to come on those in Christ Jesus. Therefore we need to know what those blessings are in order for us to receive them. When you look at how Abraham was blessed, he was blessed in many material ways. He had houses, lands animals,  servants etc. By today's standards, he would be considered wealthy. 

 

We are to be blessed this way as well. God wants us to prosper so we can be a blessing to others. You cannot be blessing to someone else if you are lacking. Abraham did not lack. The blessings of Abraham are suppose to come upon those in Christ Jesus.
