Build Yourself Up

 

 

 

Jude 1:20 (NKJV)

 

20. But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.

 

 

Thank God for prayer. God has so blessed us with the tools needed for us to fight this good fight of faith and prayer is one of them. (I Timothy 6:12) As we exercise our heavenly language by praying in the Holy Spirit, we build, edify and construct our spiritual life. We are not only edifying and building ourselves up, we are developing a love relationship between us and our Heavenly Father. What a privilege we have to be able to talk directly to our Heavenly Father. Jesus has made us righteous, and Gods hears are always open to the prayer of the righteous. (Proverbs 15:29) There is nothing more edifying than being able to hear a Word from your Heavenly Father. He is a good Father, and His thoughts of us are always higher than what we think of ourselves. (Isaiah 55:8,9)
