Crossing The Threshold

Hebrews 11:11 (NKJV)

11.  By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.

So Sarah's act of faith was based upon her perception of the faithfulness of God and the trustworthiness of His promises. That is how she stepped over her "threshold,"  and that is how Abraham stepped over his as well, and that is how we will step over our "threshold". The point or place of beginning our walk of faith takes action on our part. We are able to take our steps of faith because of the faithfulness of God to His Word.
