Faith Is Present Tense
Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV):
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Another way to say this is that Faith is now – present tense.
Faith always speaks in the present tense. Not the future. Many Christians do not grasp this very important part of faith. Take healing, for example. Many times you will hear believers say, " I know God is going to heal me." That is not correct. God already has done it. It is up to us to receive it. That is where our faith comes in.
It is important to truly understand faith. For by faith we access all of God's promises.
