God's Good Pleasure

Philippians 2:13 (NKJV)

13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

When God gives us an assignment, we will have a strong desire or will to accomplish that particular task or assignment. We are told here that it is God that does or places a desire in our heart to do something. Also we must realize that if it is God that put that desire in us, He will give us the opportunity to fulfill the desire He put in us. So we must trust God to reveal the plan He has to accomplish what He wills for us. This verse tells us that when God wills or puts a desire in us it pleases or gives God good pleasure. God desires for us to want to and to desire to do His will.
