Is Your Mind On God?

Genesis 3:7 (NKJV)

7. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings

Once Adam and Eve sinned against God, they went from being God-conscious to being self-conscious –- and what happened? Verses 12 and 13 records how they compounded their sin by trying to place the blame on someone else!

If the devil can get you to keep your mind on yourself, he can keep you laboring in and adding to your past mistakes. So, one of the fastest ways for you to overcome sin, and the guilt and condemnation it brings, is to get your mind off of yourself and on God.
