Jesus Destroyed The Works of Satan

 

 

I John 3:8 (NKJV)

8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

 

The works of Satan which Jesus came to earth to destroy has affected all men, the earth and all parts of mankind. Redemption began the process of the restoration of all things. Praise the Lord, the salvation of the spirit (the real us) came first, because that sets us into the Kingdom of God. Redemption of the spirit  causes us to have eternal life, because the life of God became an eternal part of us. No longer do we have the work of death in us, we have the work of life in us, which we received when we confessed Jesus to be the Lord of our lives. All the blessings and benefits of the kingdom of God have been given to us through Jesus our Lord.
