Jesus- The Resurrection and The Life 

 

 

John 11:25(NKJV) 

25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.

26 "And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?"

27 She said to Him, "Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world."

 

Jesus is speaking to Martha in these scriptures. He makes the statement that He, Jesus IS the Resurrection and the Life. 

 

On this day traditionally called Easter, the focus is not to be on bunnies and eggs,. Not that there is anything wrong with bunnies and eggs. But the focus should be on the Resurrection. All other religions in the world pray to gods that are dead. What makes true Christianity with Jesus as the head of the Church the real deal is not so much that Jesus died, but that He ROSE from the dead and is alive forever more. Praise God! 

 

And those who have accepted Him as their Lord and Savior also are alive to eternal life in Christ Jesus!
