Knowing Your Enemy
II Corinthians 2:11 (NKJV)
11 lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.
We are told in I Timothy 6:12, to fight the good fight of faith. To do this successfully, we must know our enemy. We must know not only that he exists, but also his mode of operation and how we are to view him. It is of vital importance to know these things, so we can know how he may attack us, and most importantly, so we can be successful in our war against him. Many people do not like to talk about the devil, and state that it is glorifying him when we do. But, we are not glorifying him, we are exposing him and his ways so that we can use our faith to blow him out of the way.
In I John 4:4, it states that the greater one is on the inside of us. Satan and his forces will devourer you with sickness, fear, poverty, desease, warfare, bloodshed, accidents, anything he can. Once you become aware of who he is, and how he operates, and you become aware that he is already whipped and defeated, you will stop allowing him to lord it over you. He will be out of business as far as you are concerned. Do not allow the enemy to blind your mind by his non-authoritative roar, he is nothing but a bluff, if you know your authority in Christ Jesus.
