Light and Wisdom Are in You

 

Daniel 5:14 (NKJV):

"I have heard of you, that the Spirit of God is in you, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom are found in you."

 

King Belshazzar could tell that the Spirit of God was in Daniel. How? Because of the light, the understanding, and the wisdom that Daniel possessed. In fact, this is what caused the King to summon Daniel to see him. Likewise, the world should be able to tell that the Spirit of God is in you. When you walk in wisdom with understanding, letting your light shine before men, the world will notice you. You will necessarily not have to go out of your way to approach others, for the light of Christ will draw them to you. You will not have to try to convince others of the reality of Christ, for they will already see it in you. So the best way you can effectively witness to others is by being like Daniel – a living epistle of the light, the understanding, and the wisdom of God. By this, you will bring glory to your heavenly Father.
