Never Give Up Saying and Believing

 

 

Matthew 10:32,33 (NKJV)

32 "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.

33 "But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

 

As you read these verses, think of it in reference to confession. Jesus states that they were to confess in front of men. This means that God has no secret disciples. In other words, if you talk about Him unashamedly in front of men, He will talk about you unashamedly in front of His heavenly Father. There is a price to pay to make a positive confession in line with the Word of God. Hebrews 10:23 states that we are to hold fast the profession of our faith. The word "profession" is the same Greek word for "confession." So we could read it, "...let us hold fast to the confession of our faith without wavering." For He is faithful that promised. In other words do not give up saying and believing. Never give up saying what you hope. Do you have a hope that is consistent with Gods plan and purpose? If so, keep saying it!
