No Need To Be Jealous
Genesis 4:6-7(NKJV)
6. And why has your countenance fallen? "If you do well, will you not be accepted? 7. And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it."
What the Lord spoke to Cain, He also speaks to us today. So there is no need for any of us to be like Cain and be jealous or envious of our brothers and sisters in Christ. We have no need to do or wish harm to others because The Lord promises that if we will do well, we will also be accepted.
This Scripture is our key to overcoming jealousy, envy, and strife. Once we get a hold of the revelation that we, too, can be accepted by God, then such pettiness will have no place in us. After all, what can possibly top being accepted by Almighty God, the Creator of the Universe? Our God is big enough to love each us and big enough to give every one of us His special attention. He is able and willing to provide every single need and godly desire any of us could ever have. Nothing is too big for our God! So there’s no need to entertain jealousy and envy because whatever we need or desire we already have in the great "I AM."
